Collection: Favorite Piqua Ware

Founded in 1889 in Piqua, Ohio, the Favorite Stove & Range Company became one of America's most respected cast iron foundries. Best known for its Favorite Piqua Ware line, the company produced skillets, Dutch ovens, griddles, waffle irons, gem pans, kettles, and a wide variety of high-quality cast iron cookware that earned a reputation for outstanding performance and durability.

Favorite Piqua Ware is celebrated for its exceptionally smooth cooking surfaces, high-quality iron, lighter weight, and excellent heat retention, making it a favorite among both collectors and everyday cooks. Many pieces proudly display the iconic smiley-face logo, one of the most recognizable trademarks in vintage cast iron.

The foundry continued producing cookware until 1935, when operations came to an end during the economic hardships of the Great Depression. Although production ceased, the quality of Favorite Piqua Ware has stood the test of time.

Today, these beautifully crafted pieces remain highly sought after for their craftsmanship and cooking performance. More than a century after they were made, Favorite Piqua Ware continues to be treasured in kitchens and collections alike, proving that true quality never goes out of style.
